Is it happening for all downloads, or only some of them? I have this problen but when i open my game The mods section is Blacked out and the game is not able to open new mods. Sorry for the ramblings but am 73 years old. I am also having this problem. None of the NMM download buttons are doing anything after the 'Your download should automatically begin within a few seconds. Closing this ticket.
I've recently started to play Skyrim again and I've wen't to mod it however, I am unable to download anything from nexusmods.
I've tried downloading skyrim mods and fallout 4 mods so I know it's not an issue with downloading for a certain game I've tried with and without a VPN so I know that isn't the issue I've tried on multiple browsers so I know chrome or my extensions aren't the issue.
Anything I can find online is solving a problem with someones choice of mod manager so I am unable to find something relevant to my problem. I have a screenshot of the issue, it's the same no matter what I try to download for any game.
Edit: I am able to download some mods by going to the mod page, going into the files, and opening the 'download manually' link in a new tab however this doesn't work with a lot of mods I wish to use so this won't work long term. Any time there is a green button between me and the mod, I won't be able to download it; be that button asking me to donate to the mod author or advising what other mods I need.

It's only the NMM, manuals work fine, so what I've been doing is dumpingall my mods into a folder and then having NMM manually install them. Nothing has changed since the last time I used Nexusmods a few months ago,except that the site got an overhaul. It looks nice btw, this is the onlyproblem I've really ran into. When it works, it makes installing mods from the Nexus easy. And when its not working, you can really appreciate just how much easier the manager makes installing the more advanced mods. Looking forward to seeing the tool mature. It's sole purpose is to make mods both not overwrite base game files and improve compatibility by letting users determine load order.
One of the main features other than load order is the ability to launch using a custom executable for instance, a script extender or a memory allocation executable for bit processes and even installing mods by putting them in a custom folder useful for script extenders that use. The design is improved upon the NMM, but maintains simplicity.
Icons are used in place of labeled buttons, though hovering over them will give a description of their use. A minor flaw in the mod loader itself is that it needs to restart when manually installing a mod into its folders. On slower computers, this means sitting for an extra several seconds to install the mod to the game when simply adding a reset button i. The site it pulls from is nice, I guess.
Downloads for normal users are capped at 1 mbit per second, which makes downloading larger or multiple mods a pain. However, downloading multiple mods from separate servers can mitigate this problem. However, the sluggishness of the website itself results in a second wait time between page loads even on a broadband connection. Of course, to rate by this alone seems a little unfair as it is advertised as a mod manager.
